私たちのホームタウン・西千葉を舞台に、暮らしと地域の未来を考え、つくる自社プロジェクトを展開しています。自分たちがこのまちで暮らすなかで得た実感や、地域の人々との対話から生まれた問いを起点に、一人ひとりが自らの手で暮らしを更新し、よりよい地域をともにつくっていくための仕組みや環境を、実験と実践を重ねながら育てています。

In our hometown of Nishi-Chiba, we create and run projects to foster the future of our daily lives and neighborhood.
Rooted in our own experiences and conversations with neighbors, we experiment and practice to build environments where people can reshape their way of living and co-create a better community.

マイキーの拠点やプロジェクトは、歩いて行き来できる小さなエリアのなかに点在しています。ものづくり、学び、読書、交流、公園活用など、異なる役割をもつ場や活動が身近な範囲にあることで、それぞれの「点」から生まれる人の動きや出来事、関係性が、地域のなかでゆるやかにつながっていきます。そこから生まれた小さな変化が周囲へと波及し、まちでの暮らしの選択肢や、人と人との関係を豊かにしていきます。

Hometown Projectsは、そんな「点から面へ」と広がる小さな生活革命を、西千葉の日常のなかで実践する試みです。

Mikey's places and projects are distributed across a compact, walkable area. By bringing together places and activities with different roles—from making, learning, and reading to gathering and activating public spaces—within close reach of one another, the movements, encounters, and relationships that emerge from each "point" begin to connect across the neighborhood. These small changes ripple outward, enriching the choices available in everyday life and the relationships between people throughout the community.
Hometown Projects is our ongoing attempt to put a small revolution in everyday life into practice in Nishi-Chiba—allowing change to grow from individual points into the wider fabric of the neighborhood.
